We, the community of Cross and Passion, acknowledge the central importance of caring relationships with each other, in the creation of a safe learning environment where all are encouraged to grow, with dignity, to their full potential. The energy and spirit of our school community are reflected in our values.

Junior Cycle
In 2014, the new Junior Cycle was introduced into Irish schools. Over the coming years your child will experience newly developed subjects and short courses and will find that their learning has a significant focus on key skills and wellbeing.
Transition Year
Transition Year is a one year school based programme between Junior and Senior cycle. It is designed to act as a bridge between the two by facilitating the smooth transition from the more dependent learning of the Junior Cycle to the more independent self directed learning required for the Senior Cycle.
Senior Cycle
Senior Cycle includes LCE (Leaving Certificate Established), LCA (Leaving Certificate Applied Programme) and LCVP (Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme). Students following the LCV Programme also take the Link Modules.

Cross and Passion College is a co-educational, voluntary secondary school founded by the Sisters of the Cross and Passion in 1887 and in the trusteeship of Le Chéile Schools Trust.
