Erasmus

Cross and Passion College is an Erasmus+ Accredited School.

The Accreditation runs until 2027.

Erasmus+ is the EU Programme that supports citizens in their personal and professional development in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

The Erasmus+ Accreditation enables us, the students and staff of Cross and Passion College, to collaborate with European Partner Establishments to develop quality projects in the field of education.

Our current Erasmus Plan aims to enhance multilingual competencies and intercultural awareness while developing communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

We have an exciting year ahead!

Student Mobilities

Two Student Group Mobilities are confirmed for France and Germany.

Each group of 6th year students, accompanied by their language teachers, will attend school in France or Germany with their exchange partners . The focus will be on connecting with other cultures and improving linguistic skills.

The themes of our projects are ‘ Biodiversity and the Environment’ and ‘Weaving our Cultural Tapestry’.

For part two of the exchange, we will host our French and German friends in CPC in February 2025. We look forward to a week of cultural activities forming lifelong memories.

Diversity and Participation in Democratic life

Two of our senior students are invited to participate in a Model United Nations Conference in Namur, Belgium to debate the theme of Diversity. The invitation to be part of the committee presents an exciting opportunity to meet people from all over the world who come together to discuss the most pressing problems, to gain experience in MUN conferences, to learn about other cultures and make new friends.

Staff Mobilities

During the current project year, June 2024- August 2025, Staff in CPC will be supported to pursue Professional Development Courses delivered by Europass Teacher Academy.

The courses are aligned with the current needs and challenges of our school community. Our initial focus is to enhance teaching and learning within the realm of Classroom Management, School Innovation, Arts and Wellbeing while embracing the spirit of International collaboration.

Following on from participation in the European mobilities, teachers will facilitate peer to peer sharing of experiences and transfer of best practices to all staff, ensuring an impact across our whole school community.
